Air Compressor Receiver Tanks Fabrication (Manufacturing)

Horizontal Compressor Air Receiver Tank Manufacturers in Kolkata India

1.

Vertical Air Receiver Tank Manufacturers

A Vertical Air Receiver Storage Tank consists of a cylindrical shell with standard Tori spherical or Ellipsoidal dish on both ends. Vertical tanks are generally used for storing large volumes of air. We provide connections as per your process/design requirements. Working Pressure may vary from 0.1 Bar To 350 Bar.

2.

Horizontal Air Receiver Manufacturer

Horizontal tanks are generally used for storing a smaller volume of air. They are designed to provide a supply buffer to meet short-term demand spikes that can exceed the compressor capacity. They also serve to dampen reciprocating compressor pulsations, separate out particles and liquids, and make the compressed air system easier to control. As a leading Air Receiver Tank Manufacturer in India, we recommend installing a larger receiver tank to meet occasional peak demands and can even allow for the use of a smaller compressor.

Some more answers to your questions – FAQ

Why do you need an air Compressed Air Receiver?

A compressed air receiver tank receives and stores compressed air after it exits the air compressor.

This gives you a reserve of compressed air that you can draw on without running your air compressor.

The main purpose of this is to act as temporary storage to accommodate the peaks of demand from your system and to optimize the running efficiency of your plant.

Aefab is one of the leading Air Receiver Tank Manufactures in India.

As an Air Receiver Tank Manufacturer, our air tanks play a vital role in every compressed air system.

Air receivers are used to store the compressed air and maintain the air pressure as per the application of the process area, it also creates a buffer and storage between the compressor and consumption systems.

Annapurna Engineering Enterprise – AEFab is a leading manufacturer and fabricator of stainless steel tanks, stainless steel vessels, shell and tube heat exchangers, agitator mixers, industrial chemical reactors, vertical and horizontal pressure vessels, bridge girders and steel bridge bearings.

Higher pressure in your air receiver would mean more air for your process. Now the question is how much pressure should we plan for?

Actually, the pressure of your tank should be related to the output pressure of your compressor.

Most standard fixed speed and variable speed drive compressors can deliver compressed air at up to 175 PSIG (12bar), however, the majority of industrial facilities operate between 100-125 PSIG (7-8 bar). Depending on your facility’s needs, the air receiver’s maximum pressure should be sized accordingly.

For example, if your fixed speed compressor is rated to deliver a maximum of 125 psig (8 bar), the air receiver should be rated at a minimum of 150 psig (10 bar).

Most variable speed drive (VSD) air compressors are rated up to 175 psig (12bar), therefore, a 200 (14 bar) psig air receiver would be more suitable for this type of compressed air system.

Each air receiver should be equipped with a pressure relief valve, which is designed to release pressure from the tank in case the tank reaches its maximum allowable pressure inside the vessel.

It is important to remember that higher pressure does not equal more flow (CFM or l/s). It is very important to understand minimum and maximum pressure settings for the machines that utilize compressed air and if possible use pressure regulators out of the air receiver and or at the point of use.

A good rule of thumb to remember is that each 2 psig is equal to 1% of energy being used (1 bar is equal to 7% of energy), which means that we should keep our system pressure according to the facility’s needs, in turn resulting in further energy savings.
